You can now tip other players stars when you see something you like more than just a like. You can tip from the Activity page.
We’ve got leaderboards for photos and players, and a page for contest results. We’ll be fine tuning what stats we list there, so if you have ideas for what you’d like to see, hit us back…
All 396 photos submitted in August are now competing in 5 contests for Photos of the Month. The top ranked photos are in level 5, down to the lower level 1.
Thanks for the overwhelming response for our first issue! All photos submitted in August will compete in a huge single contest. In the meantime, we’re tightening up the site, adding a bunch of features, and figuring out the whole magazine part of things full-speed.
HOW IT WORKS
ENTER YOUR PHOTOS
Entering a photo is just a quick upload. We’re giving new users 4 free uploads and another free one every day you come back to the site. There are no limits so enter as many as you like!
fovi8 was created by photographers for photographers – you keep the copyright.
PHOTOS ARE JUDGED ONLINE
You and other fovi8 users judge the photos in small sets. The top three from each set move on to round two, which is also judged by users. We give out stars (free uploads) to the top ranking judge in every set, and every photo earns rank and points.
MY PHOTOS HAVE BEEN JUDGED.
WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?
The top-ranked photos will be published in the October 2017 issue of fovi8 Magazine, which will be available online and print.
Additionally, you can enter your photos into secondary contests like People, or Places, or the Brawl, which pays winning photos and judges in cash-redeemable diamonds.
MORE TO COME
It’s hard to even scratch the surface of fovi8 in a small post like this. We’ll be announcing many more details about the magazine, the platform, and the mobile app.
